Theory session
The mechanics of deep equalisation with a Molchanovs instructor.
Molchanovs · Advanced
The advanced equalisation technique that unlocks greater depth, in one focused day.
Break the barrier
For most freedivers, equalisation is what limits depth. Mouthfill Mastery is a one-day, focused session on the advanced mouthfill technique that lets you keep equalising far below where the classic method runs out.
As you go deeper, the air you use to equalise gets harder to reach. The mouthfill technique stores a charge of air in your mouth before free fall, so you can keep equalising all the way down, long after a normal Frenzel would fail.

What is mouthfill?
As you go deeper, the air you use to equalise gets harder to reach. The mouthfill technique stores a charge of air in your mouth before free fall, so you can keep equalising all the way down, long after a normal Frenzel would fail.
This session breaks the technique down step by step: the theory, dry drills to build the feel, and coached practice in the water, so you leave with a mouthfill you can actually use to go deeper.

Mouthfill is a motor skill before it is a diving skill, so the day is built in that order.

Why equalisation gets harder with depth, what actually runs out, and where the mouthfill charge comes from. The mechanics, broken into parts you can practise separately.
Building the feel on land, where nothing else is competing for your attention: the charge, the seal, and managing the volume as it shrinks.
Coached practice on the line, applying the technique on free fall with your instructor watching each attempt and adjusting between dives.

Yes. Mouthfill is an advanced technique, so you should already be comfortable freediving and equalising with Frenzel. It is aimed at freedivers at Wave 2 level or working toward it.

The focus is the technique, not a personal best. You leave with a mouthfill you can then apply to go deeper in your own training.
You can learn what it is from videos. What is hard alone is knowing which part you are getting wrong, because from the inside a failed mouthfill and a good one feel far more similar than they should. That is what a coach watching your dives and your footage is for.
Longer than a day for most people, which is why the day is about building the technique correctly rather than certifying it. Freedivers usually add coaching sessions afterwards to keep practising it under supervision, and a Deep Week gives it a full week of repetition.
The Gili Matra Marine Park fee of IDR 100,000 per person applies to reef sessions. It is a one-off, paid to the park rather than to us.
Yes. Many freedivers pair Mouthfill Mastery with one-to-one coaching sessions to lock the technique in.
